Solar Power Beginner

Solar Power Beginner is a website designed for people who are interested in learning about what solar power can do for them, how it works, and even where to purchase a solar power kit from.  This website has a wealth of information, from the basics about how solar power kits function, to where you can find a solar power manufacturer, and more!  The mission of the Solar Power Beginner website is to provide people with straightforward information about solar energy, and what solar energy can do for you.

The first page has a large box with a picture of a report called: 5 Simple Steps.  You can get this report for free when you sign up for their monthly newsletter, which is also free.   Just type your email address and your first name into the boxes, and click the button that says: subscribe.

On one side of this website, there are a series of links you can click on, for more information.  Use the link that says : Solar Thermal to read more about how solar hot water panels function.  In short, this requires a solar water heater, located on the roof, that uses the heat (or thermal) energy of the sun.  Click the link that says: Solar Installers to learn important information that you should consider before choosing a company to attach your solar power kit to your roof.  The link called: Solar Panels teaches you about what is in most solar power kits, how the solar panels work.

There is a blog on the Solar Power Beginner website that us regularly updated.  The posts include helpful information about things related to the hardware of solar power kits, (such as where to find foldable or rollable solar panels).  There are several posts about homes that are using solar power, and what it is like to live in them.  You can also read interviews with different people who work in various segments of the solar industry, and see what they have to say.  These interviews can be found if you click on the link called : Solar Interviews.

Want to learn more about the companies behind the components that are required if you are going to convert your house to solar energy?  Start by clicking on the Solar Companies link at the side of the page.  You can scroll through the list, and get a brief description of each company.  Or, you can click on the name of the company if you want to read more.  These are companies that are solar panel manufacturers, or who make the laminate for photovoltaic cells.  Others are energy companies, interested in teaching consumers about renewable energy sources.
